Bachman’s Fall Ideas House 2012

Fall Holiday House Bachman's

With the change of seasons comes a new Idea’s House from Bachman’s. The theme for this fall is “Cool Trends for Fall Gatherings.” With three party setups and plenty of space for casual gatherings, this home is focused on celebrating the season with friends, family and pets.

Northern Brewer has set up shop across from Bachman’s Ideas House and the front porch is all about the brew. This old shipping trunk has been repurposed into a beer tap.

This “great divide” is fashioned from a pallet (turned room planter) and a piece of ironwork.

Sunroom

The strip of accent color draws your attention to the shelving unit recycled from salvaged wood and metal.

This piece of art pulls together all the colors of the room.

Decorated for fall in the dining room.

Master bedroom vignette

Bark wallpaper and cornice with a candle tray used as a wall shelf.

An old trunk and salvaged boards handles storage and organization in the kitchen. Hand towels, hooks and salvaged wood equals a creative custom window treatment.

Favorites of mine in “the office” are the closet door covered in fabric, a desk made from old doors, and metal panels kicking it up a notch as window treatments.

Close up of metal panel with holes in it – loved the way the light was filtering through the holes and into the office.

Great contrast between the wall color and trim.

Bachman’s Fall Ideas House 2012 stand-out has to be the dog(s) room and dog park. The dog bed is an upside-down table, with shiny dog dishes acting as a platform for the lamp.

This on-trend plaid custom cornice is showing off its’ doggy keychain bling.

Here’s the dog park off the second story dog room; note the dog bone shaped pool and topiaries made from moss and foam.

Stairwell lined with picture frames and vintage cabinet doors.

The wall color is gender neutral and makes a great backdrop in this bird-themed nursery. The painted mirrors give the wall the perfect pops of color.

Who doesn’t love an original string art creation?

My clubhouse favorite is the tangerine tango tire swing. The clubhouse is filled with colorful tchotchkes that will soothe away all that pre-teen ennui.

The last stop is the garage filled with tons of Halloween cheer. Tarpaper and chalk makes everyone a Halloween artist!

What did you think? As always lots of creative ideas for decorating inside and outside your home. The Bachman’s team did another fabulous job with this Ideas House. You really have to go see the house for yourself, my photos do not do it justice.

I was excited to see all their paint selections were different from the previous Ideas Houses, with the exception of the master bedroom and porch. I’m not the only one interested in the paint colors; our retail stores were getting phone calls from customers wanting the paint colors before the Fall Ideas House opened. Bachman’s keeps the colors TS (top-secret) until opening day.
