Who We Are

Hirshfield’s operates full-service decorating centers in Minnesota with an unrivaled selection of paints, wallcoverings, fabrics and window fashions. We are the leading specialty retailer of decorating products in our markets. And Hirshfield’s Design Studio represents an invaluable resource for Twin Cities interior designers and specifiers for the latest fashions in fabrics, wallcoverings, carpet and custom area rugs, as well as custom furniture and lighting.

Hirshfield’s has the products and the technical expertise to handle the most complex and demanding applications. From food and beverage processing plants, chemical plants and refineries to waste water treatment facilities, Hirshfield’s can deliver industrial specifications to meet any challenge.

Since Frank Hirshfield opened his first store in 1894, it has been our mission to do the best job possible meeting customer needs and solving customer problems.

50,000 sq. ft. facility in north Minneapolis, produces 5,000 gallons of premium paint each day for commercial and residential consumers throughout the Midwest. Through our dealer network, we also manufacture coatings for customers across the United States as well as Japan and China.
