Four of our Hirshfield’s designers contributed their favorite large wall covering prints for a big impact on a small powder room.
Osborne & Little Verdanta Bird Song
Michelle Morris of our Edina store picks Osborne & Little’s Verdanta Bird Song because “it brings a little of the outside in with a fun flair, especially if the ceiling is done as well.”

More on this design: “A collection of wallpapers of eclectic artistic inspiration. Many of the designs have directly coordinating fabrics. Signature colors include sapphire, silver, turquoise, peacock, primrose, fuchsia and duck egg with neutrals such as stone, linen and ivory. All the designs are printed on wide-width rolls.” – Verdanta Wallpapers
Janta Bazaar by Thibaut Design’s Caravan Collection
Edina’s Michelle P. suggests Janta Bazaar from the Thibaut Caravan Wallpaper Book. She likes it because the Citron Green wallpaper would make a powder room look like a jewel box.

Diane from Eden Prairie also picks Janta Bazaar, in blue. “I love color,” she says. “Paint the ceiling any one of the accent colors in the paper, but the middle green would be my personal best. It has a fun yet traditional value for my taste. I am, at heart, a traditionalist!”

More on this design: “Venture to a place where treasures await at every turn in the Caravan collection. Classically inspired designs and worldly motifs are enlivened with a fresh and adventurous color palette. This energizing collection of coordinating wallpaper, print and woven fabrics is full of surprising shapes and movement that embrace traditional design.” – Thibaut
Zoffany Tivoli Old Gold
“This paper reminds me of The Great Gatsby, and the glamour and excess of the 20’s,” says Lisa Gardner of Woodbury. “It is an extravagant pattern full of bold colors, and garnished with glimmer. Perfect for a statement powder bath.”

This room setting shows the same design, but in a different colorway.

More on this design: “Tivoli has been adapted from block printed wallpaper dating from the Art Deco period. The style and subject matter is typical of the time and to enhance a sense of Hollywood glamour the paper has been embellished with sparkling scatter beads and is printed in four colors.” – Zoffany
