Friday Finds: Happy New Year

Bud, Ken, Bud Lindgren

Hirshfield’s very own “Mad Men” Bud Lindgren, Ken Heidelberg, and Bud Hirshfield

As with many businesses in the housing industry this was a challenging year. Challenging or not, we still have a lot to be thankful for with good health, family, and friends.

We want to thank our customers for their continued loyalty, the vendors for their support, and last but not least, all our very hard working employees.

As we enter a new decade, and our 117th year in business, Hirshfield’s would like to extend a healthy and prosperous New Year to you. We are looking forward to an exciting 2011.

Disclaimer: We do not sell O’Brien paint.

    Amy,
I think this photo shoot was for the opening of our old Brookdale location. The photographer thought they were not festive enough for the shoot. A couple cocktails later they had no problem getting the party started, in true Mad Men style.

    Wishing you an amazing 2011.

The story is great! And the Brookdale location? Love it! That’s where my mom and I spent many an hour looking at wallpaper books after we moved to the suburbs.

    1. Before Ridgedale was built, I think Brookdale was the “mall of choice” on the north/west side of town. Woolworths is where my Aunt JoAnne turned me on to the Reuben Sandwich.
