Pantone Color of the Year 2019

One of the most anticipated days of the year for color enthusiasts falls in early December — that’s when Pantone announces their Color of the Year! Living Coral has been proclaimed THE COLOR for 2019. For the past 20 years Pantone’s COTY has influenced fashion, home furnishings, and industrial design, as well as product, packaging, and graphic design.

Pantone describes Living Coral as “an animating and life-affirming shade of orange with a golden undertone. We get energy from nature. Just as coral reefs are a source of sustenance and shelter to sea life, vibrant yet mellow PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral embraces us with warmth and nourishment to provide comfort and buoyancy in our continually shifting environment.”
