Hirshfield’s Industrial Direct-to-Metal (DTM) acrylic coating is a high quality, satin finish, suitable for interior or exterior applications over properly prepared ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces. This product contains flash rust inhibitors making it ideal for use in both new construction as well as re-paint or maintenance applications. This product dries quickly, has low odor and is HAPS free.
This product is recommended for use in mild to moderate exposure environments. Some of the recommended applications include: bar joists, piping, duct work, metal doors and frames, hand rails and tanks. For optimal performance, adhesion and corrosion protection, the use on Hirshfield’s DTM Primer #88-9250 is recommended.
