Creekwoodhill One Room Challenge™ – Master Bedroom

Lea from Creekwoodhill was a Guest Participant in the Spring 2018 One Room Challenge™. If you’re not familiar with the ORC™ participants choose a space to transform in six weeks and share weekly updates on their social media sites. Why am I telling you this? Lea chose to makeover her master bedroom and she selected Hirshfield’s Shell Tint for the wall color…one of May’s “harmonizing hues.” The transformation from a dark wall color to white in this room truly demonstrates the “power of paint.”

In this house we do fun and we don’t take ourselves seriously (most days). We’re a laid-back and casual family who loves a good, thrifted find but appreciates well-crafted heirloom quality pieces as well. Anything new must be made to last. And to last generations. Quality over quantity is a rule in this house. If it makes you smile and feel good, it stays. If we don’t use it or it’s a meaningless, non-sensical “prop” it goes.

Simple rules, right?

And that’s the goal. Simplicity.
