If you have the handwriting for it, chalkboards are all the rage right now. And what’s even better is that you can just wipe it clean and change the design as the seasons change! This simple design is fun and Wintery, with the help of some fun lyrics, and some easy-to-make snowflakes! You can even make your own chalkboard with Benjamin Moore chalkboard paint you can pick up at your local Hirshfield’s.

Pinecones are a simple, inexpensive way to decorate for the holiday season. Tie some twine onto a pinecone and add a little ribbon for an easy ornament. Or, add some to a glass centerpiece with a candle for a simple holiday centerpiece that is also appropriate for Thanksgiving. Even adding some glue and glitter to a pinecone can make it a pretty accent in your home for the holidays.

This is a fun and inexpensive way to decorate your front door, or even create a letter to hang within your home. All it takes is some ribbon, or even burlap, the first letter of your last name, and some faux berries found at your local craft store. This can be tweaked to be as festive or as neutral as you wish.
