Farrow & Ball 2025
Say hello to new paint colors from Farrow & Ball! Nine new colors and three familiar favorites all inspired by the extraordinary ordinary.
For the first time in Farrow & Ball history, three Archive colors are being welcomed back into the signature palette of 132 colors, along with nine new hues. This grounded palette celebrates, illuminates and indulges in every day.
“Now that we spend more time in our homes, I felt it was time to celebrate the more commonplace colors, to find joy in the familiar, often from the world of utility and function,” F&B color curator Joa Studhome says. “These colors are ordinary treasures to me, often overlooked in our busy day to day lives.”
The special touches that make a moment an occasion and the unsung heroes of our favorite memories. All colors handcrafted in to transform every space, inside and out. The “extraordinary ordinary” rings so true once you read the story behind each color.

New Colors
Dibber: A down-to-earth green
Named after the tool beloved by gardeners to create holes for planting seeds or bulbs, this muddied green has a close association with the natural world.
Douter: A smokey grey-green
Sitting between two of the best-loved Farrow & Ball colors, Inchyra Blue and Green Smoke, this shade is reminiscent of the sooty, tarnished brass of traditional candle snuffers.
Duster: A familiar ochre
An aged yellow celebrating the ever so familiar cloth used to clean homes worldwide.
Karelugn: A clean light blue
This highly requested, cleaner interpretation of Light Blue takes its name from the folkloric fires of Sweden, often decorated in this shade.
Marmelo: A comforting orange color
Named after the marmelo quince, the inspiration for marmalade, this is a thoroughly comforting shade.
Naperon: A worn terracotta
Inspired by the origins of the word apron, this is a familiar clay color with a well-loved feel.
Reduced Green: An intense muddied green
The green pigment in this dark neutral has been reduced so much that it’s barely there – some see brown, while others see green.
Scallop: A softer salmon shade
This lighter interpretation of Dead Salmon is inspired by both the soft hue and gentle, curved shape of the prized shellfish.
Sizing: A clean, crisp neutral
A fresh neutral with distinctive blue undertones, this color has a certain crispness like the starch it is named after.

Archived Colors Making a Comeback
Farrow & Ball’s color palette is always 132 colors — when new colors are introduced, that same number of colors head to the Archive. Get reacquainted with these three earthy Farrow & Ball colors brought back for the new color introduction 2025. I look at it like being called up from the minor league into the major league.
Broccoli Brown: A quiet dark stone
A dark, quiet color that sits effortlessly alongside natural materials, such as weathered wood or flagstone floors. It feels reserved and comforting in equal measure.
Etruscan Red:
Inspired by an ancient civilization, this earthy red is less intense than Preference Red but still wonderfully rich.
Sap Green: An earthy green
An enticing olive shade, Sap Green is a true celebration of nature and feels wonderfully intense in small spaces.
