Warm up with December’s Color of the month: Back to Basics 0255.  Clean. Crisp. Classic. Hirshfield’s Color of the Month exemplifies how neutrals — yes, the clean camel “Back to Basics” is a neutral — are visually warming up this season.  For a medium-tone color it has a light and airy feel with no dominant undertones. It’s the perfect complement to the ever-popular gray palette, which often times benefits from a warming touch (see our clean camel / gray combinations below). Back to Basics represents the non-metallic color of gold which is popular today and as a paint color looks great with trim simply painted white. Jewel tones are trending clearer and Back to Basics will work well with those colors, too.  This is one instance where back to basics is fashion forward.  Onward.
