I have worked with contractors on Waste Water treatment plants, Storage Tanks, Smoke and Heater Stacks, Water treatment plants, Boiler rooms and Factory/Manufacturing settings over the 30 years in the Coatings industry to create coating systems that withstand the severe environments for each situation, within the budget and expectations of the end users.
By writing specifications, checking for proper adhesion per the specifications, bidding and partnering with contractors to provide the best Commercial applications for the budget of the end users.I am happily married to my wife, Gayle, of more than 25 years and we are proud parents of two Eagle Scout sons. We spend a lot of time in the Outdoors from camping, hiking, fishing, golf, cycling, soccer and Frolfing (Disc Golf). We volunteer much of our free time to church, Boy Scouts and community groups in the Apple Valley and South of the River area of the Twin Cities.
My selling style is more intimate/customer centric which is a better fit with a family-owned business like Hirshfield’s. We sell “time” to our wholesale customers. We emphasize finding products that will save our contractors time (Cost of Labor) which is the most expensive cost to their business. We have the flexibility to sell products to build a better partnership with our customers.
