I started my painting career when I was 17, just out of high school and waiting to go to basic training. It all began with dry walling, taping, texturing and painting in the field. In the shop, we focused on staining and lacquering of trim packaged. Summer months consisted or traveling through central North Dakota and northern South Dakota sandblasting and coating anhydrous tanks. From there I moved to Bismarck and went to BSC and started working part time in paint stores. After a tour in Iraq, I became a Market Manager in 2006 and have experienced all aspects of the painting industry.
My free time is spent with my three children and one grandchild: Jordan, Jaeley, Jais and Hudson. We love to spend time outdoors and boating.
When I was presented with the opportunity to come work for Hirshfield’s Paints, I was ready for new opportunities and another way to expand my paint knowledge. I feel I can grow the Hirshfield’s market share with customers that have become friends over the years.
