Introducing Benjamin Moore
Color Trend Palettes for 2007
"It's often said that beauty is only skin-deep, but when it comes to color that's no flaw. In our homes, the outer surface, or skin, of objects--the colors of the walls, furnishings and accessories--has everything to do with how we feel about a room. This year I've chosen as the inspiration for three new palettes shades pulled straight from our surroundings--the timeworn patina of cherished pieces in Timeless Simplicity; the nature-inspired earthy tones of Natural Terrain; and the evocative, multiethnic hues of Cultural Tapestry."
by Doty Horn, Director of Color and Design, Benjamin Moore & Co.

The pearly gray of weathered birch bark, the powdery white of sun-bleached stone, the delicate gray of sea spray. These are colors soft and calm, paled and nuanced over time.

Journeys to the exotic and unfamiliar excite our senses and enrich our lives. New worlds of color await, in rich and complex blues and reds, golds and greens.

Deep green forests, umber hills, tawney deserts, terra-cotta clays. These are restful, comforting colors grounded in nature, strong but capable of playing a neutral role.
