Christner Architects and Hirshfield's Commercial Wallcoverings took home top honors at the First Annual IIDA St. Louis Fashion Show with their dress created from the ESSEX pattern "Golden Age" and the VERTICAL pattern "Granules". Other materials in the dress included duct tape and lots of staples!

All design teams were paired with a manufacturer/distributor and given the task of creating a dress from their given materials. The winners (above from left to right) included:
Best Craftsmanship--HOK (carpet)
Best Concept to Creation--Kuhlmann Design Group (wood flooring)
Best Overall--Christner (wallcovering)
Outside the Box--Arcturis (laminate)
